GLOBAL PRAYER IMPACT NETWORK
"Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7
HOW IT BEGAN
Rev. Christine Chavis was approached by a millennial family member in November 2012 to host a call that would appeal to late risers. Confident that one of her assignments was to address the desire and need for people to pray, she put the request on the alter. While in prayer, God gave her “12@12” (12 minutes @ 12 noon) via conference call Monday through Friday. Since the launching of the Global Prayer Impact Network in January 2013, intercessors have been equipped and empowered to raise up other prayer warriors and some have birth out ministries of their own.
OUR MISSION
The heartbeat of the Global Prayer Impact Network (GPIN) is to revive and nurture the discipline and culture of prayer. GPIN began and continue to deliver prayer virtually and at live prayer gatherings, seminars and bootcamps to build and strengthen a network of people who will answer the call to pray individually and corporately believing we're a nation healed through prayer. Known for her prayer mantle, Rev. Christine Chavis, a trusted intercessor for families, businesses, leaders, ministries, governments, schools, etc. has a passion to see people of all ages and religious experiences develop a rewarding, enriching and honorable prayer life unto God.
WHY WE PRAY
As we engage in communicating with God our prayers release His great power to change the course of nature, people, and nations. Prayer is the portal by which change does not happen by mere chance but as an inevitable response of God's love and promise to us. Jeremiah 29:12 declares, "then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."
